BIRD + WOLF, EM ROBERTS

THIS IS NOT TREND-LED FASHION.
IT'S IDENTITY, WORN.

Bird + Wolf was never conceived as a fashion label. It began with instinct.
Founder Em Roberts, whose career spans hairdressing, marketing, PR, film, music and brand consultancy, was wearing an up-cycled army jacket she had customised for herself when a stranger in Harrods asked to buy it straight off her back. The jacket carried a story. That moment became the spark for Bird + Wolf—an indie label born not from strategy, but from resonance.

Within eighteen months, the jackets were quietly stocked in Selfridges and embraced by a global following that included writers, musicians and actors—from Piper Kerman to Kelis, Stormzy, Sharleen Spiteri and Helen Mirren.

There were no campaigns, no noise. Just a growing network of people drawn to something authentic, expressive, and deeply personal. Bird + Wolf became an insider favourite—recognised not by logos, but by feeling.

At the heart of the brand is reclamation. Each one-of-a-kind jacket retains the marks of its past life—scuffs, badges, wear—reworked rather than erased. No two are the same. Like the people who wear them.

The brand's name reflects its dual nature: the bird, offering perspective and freedom; the wolf, grounded, loyal, instinctive and quietly powerful. Together, they represent movement and stillness, intuition and strength.

Today, Bird + Wolf stands as a study in conscious creation—where sustainability meets identity, and clothing becomes a lived expression rather than a trend. Built with integrity and intention, the jackets invite those who wear them to move through the world with awareness, courage and quiet confidence.

And at the centre of it all is Em Roberts, who allowed the brand—and those wearing it—to speak for themselves.
